Very very enjoyable and easy side ... needs about 30 minutes to pickle the shallots in vinegar and then a couple of minutes to cook the beans. Toss the beans and shallots together ... add salt and pepper and enjoy.
I love how this cookbook makes makes the simple sublime.

I agree aj this cookbook does have a way with making the simple sublime. Haven't tried this recipe but after your review now I want to.
