I will preface this by saying that I am not the baker in my home and there is a reason for that ... in baking, the road to a great result often takes odd and/or mysterious detours for me. But I saw the review of these biscotti here at cookbooker and couldn't resist making the effort because I love pistachios and I had half a bag left over from another recipe just sitting around in the pantry. I loved the flavor and softer texture of these (and so did my dinner guests) even though my dough never really quite came together the way I am sure it was supposed to. Also a nice pick-me-up with a late afternoon cup of coffee. I will definitely try these again.

These biscotti, with the combination of chocolate and pistachio are delicious. They are softer than a traditional biscotti.
