I finally got around to trying PW's most famous recipe and they were wonderful. The recipe makes around 50 so I made a half recipe and still had plenty to share with family. I sent a pan home with my daughter and also sent some to my MIL and BIL. Even though my daughter and I don't care much for maple I decided to add it to the icing since it only called for a small amount in half a recipe. Instead of maple flavoring or extract I used pure maple syrup since I had bought some to go in another recipe. The maple is not a prominent taste and the rolls were to die for. This is one of those recipes you make for a special occasion though since it has an insane amount of sugar and butter in them. The Christmas holidays were a perfect excuse to make them though.

This is Ree's Signature Dish. I love cinnamon rolls, unfortunately. I'm not the biggest fan of maple flavor (though I love maple syrup on my pancakes), so I used vanilla extract for the icing. Make these, and your family or guests will love you forever. Fat attack, but worth an occasional indulgence.
