It was quite okay. It was actually very good before I added the minced meat, I shouldn't have done that. I think the reason was that the meat was completely overpowered by the spices (an enormous amount of spices that was added to the minced meat during frying and therefore nearly exclusively flavoured the meat and not the rest). If you do want to use minced meat, use only part of the spices for the meat and reserve the rest for the rice. If you don't want to use the meat, use some of the spices for the rice, it'll need it.
Also, I was lucky to notice that after about 7 minutes most of the water had evaporated. I used the 'keep warm'- function after that point, and the rice turned out beautifully.
I substituted lamb minced meat for half beef, half pork, and forgot to add the dried chillis - I didn't miss them. I enjoyed the fact that it was a one pot meal, though I did use a lot of stuff.
