Recipe Review

10th July 2012

Although these are for brunch I think they make a great snack as well. Since we're getting some great local peaches now I figured it was the perfect time to try out this recipe. I love the crystallized ginger in this recipe. I decided to make a half recipe since I didn't need 15 - 18 scones. I still ended up with 9. They are wonderful. I was skeptical about the heavy cream whipping up right since it also has sour cream, it took a little while but it whipped up beautiful. Once the scones are baked you split them, put on a dollop of whipped cream and a slice of peach and drizzle with a bit of honey. Yum!
