I'm curious about the cherries you are using - especially this time of year. I have a tub of frozen sour cherries, do you think they would work?

I used dried tart cherries. Frozen sour cherries may actually be a bit too tart.....another tangy/sweet dried fruit would work though...cranberries, or even apricots.
