Hard to say. It was actually quite nice, but there was a huge mismatch in the quantities, far too much bacon and chorizo and too little broad beans; however, the recipe required 1 kg fresh broad beans in pods, while we used 300g deep frozen ones without pods but still with the white husk (which we removed after weighing). So, it could just be due to us misjudging quantities. I guess we'll only know once we've prepared this again in spring with fresh beans.
Served with mussels Belgian way with french fries and a few sauces to dip in: truffle mayonnaise and garlic mayonnaise (and tomato ketchup for the fries as well), and a Chocolate Fondant as dessert.
