My daughter made these calzones for us for our Sunday supper. She made the spinach cheese filling for her and I and filled our hubbies with pepperoni and mozzarella. I didn't realize I was almost out of all-purpose flour until she started making the dough so she used 1 cup all-purpose and 1 1/2 cups whole wheat white flours. They were delicious. We dipped them in pizza sauce.

This comes out very well. I find that there's usually a little too much filling (or too little dough) to make 6. And although she calls for lots of black pepper (and I love black pepper) I find that I like this better without much pepper at all.
