While my family loved this I though it was a bit on the sweet side for my liking but still enjoyed it. I though it better warm than completely cooled but family enjoyed it both ways. It makes a huge amount if you make the whole recipe a 9X13 pan but she gives you the option of halving and baking in an 8 inch square pan which is what I did. I used Pink Lady and Golden Delicious apples which is what I had on hand had I used Granny Smith and Fuji which is what Joy used it might have been a little less sweet. I loved the pecans and oatmeal in the topping in this one.
