This was fantastic. I'd been wanting to try this one since I saw Michael make it on the chew. I used the leftover pastry dough from page 68 that I had frozen. It was even better after frozen and perfect for this pie. I did leave out the cinnamon and cloves since neither I nor my family enjoy them in savory dishes. I once put a pinch in a huge pasta dish and had to throw it out since none of us enjoyed that flavor in the dish. This recipe makes two pies so I halved it to make one. I think I'll be making this one again.
