I adapted these a lot, but I'm confident the recipe as written would be great. I wanted to re-created a gluten free version of the Peppered Pear and Goat Cheese scones I've made from Savory Baking. I used this recipe subbing butter for the vegan butter, adding a chopped pear and 4-5 ounces blue cheese. These were very moist and delicious. I wanted a sweet savory thing so I kept the maple syrup glaze and it was perfect! Forgot the nuts:( on top.
