made this recipe twice,really great. the first time I made it theway it was written. the second time I had leftover ham.cooked the lentils with the ham bone and then added pieces of ham at the end. Everyone loved it.

An excellent winter meal, full of hearty flavor and healthy ingredients. Somewhat labor intensive since there is a fair amount of prep but it can all be done ahead.
