In a word -- wow. This was so good even with store-bought fig jam (the recipe includes its own version of fig jam, but I ran out of time and fell back on a jar on the pantry). Definitely dinner party caliber. Takes about five minutes to make if you buy rather than make the jam.
11/14/10 -- Tried a version with smoked gorgonzola instead of goat cheese and this was pretty tasty as well.
