I made this for Christmas last year and I agree with the previous reviewer: kind of bland despite all the work that went into it! The browning of the wings, mashing, and sieving. I ended up adding a whole ton of salt and black pepper to it. Perhaps this is my preference for intense, deeply flavoured gravy.
