This is the same delicious Sweet Potato Pie my family has made for years from this cookbook but has pecans added to the mix. It's great for the ones in my family, like me that enjoys the crunch of a few pecans in their sweet potato pie.

This is one of the sweet potato pies that we've made in my family ever since I can remember for Thanksgiving and sometimes again at Christmas. The other one is Sweet Potato Pecan Pie and is also in this book.

This is a very easy white sauce consisting of milk, butter and flour. The recipe gives measurements for making the sauce thin, medium thin, medium and thick. I used the Medium for making my creamed corn and it turned out great.

Stewed Corn reviewed by southerncooker
Simple way to cook corn that is just from the cob. You just add enough water to cover the pan and a little butter and seasoning with salt and pepper. I used this method for making my creamed corn from the same page and it turned out delicious.
