Decided to try this as store bought PB has become so expensive, and it worked very well. I used unsalted roasted peanuts, added a pinch of kosher salt, and about 1 tbsp oil. The result was very tasty; will make again.

Creamy Polenta with Mushroom Ragù reviewed by kaye16

Very good stuff. A half recipe was good for two people. A bit more polenta, maybe 1/2 more for the whole recipe, might have been nice, since the polenta disappeared under the ragù. The more kinds of mushrooms, the merrier.

Mushroom and Barley Soup reviewed by jenncc

This is a great starting point for a rich, savory mushroom soup. I perked this up a bit with some thyme, dry sherry and a few cloves of garlic. Hearty and delicious.
