I do like Nigel Slater. His writing is wonderful and his attitude to food eminently sensible; beware of fads, eat what you fancy but don't overindulge in any one thing, above all enjoy your food!
The book is arranged seasonally like the previous two volumes, but the recipes are more in the simple style of Eat. As usual he encourages the reader to adapt and vary his ideas. "I bring you suggestions, not rules."
