Very tasty and satisfying savory pancakes - we loved these!
We needed an easily prepared Friday night dinner, and these fit the bill. Wholesome pancakes - the ingredients included WW flour (not much), brown rice (cooked), eggs, sesame seeds, spinach, scallions, turmeric, feta cheese, milk, and buttermilk. The pancakes are not as dense as I had feared. They have a wonderful texture, and a lovely slightly nutty flavor.
We followed the suggestion to top with cheese - and added a bit of grated Pecorino.
Shulman suggests that these are prettier with black sesame seeds. The batter certainly looked nice with the little black seeds, but once they were cooked, I don't think they were noticeable. So if you only have the regular white sesame seeds, just go for it.
