Excellent soup, can be served as a starter for a formal dinner, although I liked the taste better when we started eating than in the end. But may be that was because I thought too favourably of it then.
Don't use all the liquid, our soup turned out slightly too liquid, and be careful with the timing of the salmon, its preferable to add the salmon just too late than too early, you can always let it cook just a little longer.

Really good dish for daily cooking. Very easy to prepare, and good to prepare in advance. Remember to cook off the alcohol after you've added the whisky.
