Very flavorful and refreshing. I omitted the kirsch only because I didn't have it on hand. I don't know how much the kirsch would have affected the sweetness of the yogurt but mine came out quite tart. This could be just because the berries themselves were tart. Also found that the yogurt froze much harder in comparison to ice creams I made from this book. Again, may be the kirsch may be the nature of yogurt vs. cream. I just give the yogurt a few extra minutes on the counter before scooping and a scoop dipped in hot water and everything's fine.
This recipe was surprisingly good. Just the right amount of sweetness, tang, and fruit flavor. I used Greek yogurt and it came out perfectly.
