I've made this tart a number of times. It's portable and always a hit. - I use my own pie crust, Judith Jones' Tart Dough, frozen then blind-baked as Madison suggests. - I do all the mixing in my food processor. Easy and less clean-up.

This was good enough, but should be better. - We found it very buttery. Think I might cook the onions in olive oil, rather than butter. I did reduce the amount of butter here, but not enough. - If I do this again, I don't think I'd cook the sorrel...
