These are huge crowd pleasers and surprisingly easy to make.
The cookie is basically a slice and bake style and though there is chilling time involved, the dough is very quick and easy to make without any heavy equipment or specialty chocolate requirements. In fact, it comes together much like a saucepan brownie: dry ingredients are stirred into a mixture of melted chocolate chips, butter, sugar and eggs. These look great Zosia. I've thought of trying to make these for my family since they all love Oreos. I actually don't care for them. It's nice to hear they're easy to make since I assumed they weren't. Maybe I'll give it a go sometime.

I wonder how the homemade goodies compare to bakery-fresh....
southerncooker, Oreos are not my favourite either so I was surprised I liked these.
