I tripled the recipe and cooked 6 slices of bread each on two cookie sheets. They required more cook time - about 45-50 minutes total.

I didn't make the raspberry sauce, and I served some sausage alongside which was a great savoury compliment.

Everyone loved this dish so much - adults and children alike. Definitely a keeper in my holiday breakfast repertoire.
