this was a great idea that i just had to try. Leek and potato soup generaly needs quite a bit of salt to taste really good anyway, just do away with that step and add blue cheese instead. The result is a salty savory taste wich comes through the soup mellowed with a bit of cream. mmmmm, a perfect variation to a staple cheap and easy soup.
