I totally agree with the previous reviewers: The taste was really good, but the poppy seeds didn't really add much.

The authors mention that these cucumbers are somewhat pickle-like in flavour and I would agree…..they’re sweet, salty, crunchy, juicy and very refreshing. A little heat is provided by fresh red chiles and a bright flavour by coriander; I agree with friederike that apart from the visual appeal, the poppy seeds don’t contribute much.

Very easy to make and very tasty.

Really really nice and very quick to prepare. I think it was the addition of the coriander that made it special. The poppy seed was nice to look at, but it didn't really make any difference in taste, I felt.
