My grandfather had the original recipe from a little booklet attached to a bottle of Galliano liqueur and this is the same recipe. This was his go-to cake for family gatherings and such and became mine later on. It's such a good, moist cake, but it is very, very sweet. I use French Vanilla flavored pudding in it just for kicks.
