Even though it's called tomato jam the author says it's like a fancy ketchup. I made a half recipe since I want to try the Buttermilk Biscuit Sandwiches on page 18 and the author says it's tailor made for them. I tried them on the hash browns page 143 and it was good on those. I like that it doesn't have sugar in it as most ketchups and jams do. Can't wait to try the biscuit sandwich soon.
