Found these to be excellent pancakes. I changed the flours slightly but kept it whole grain. No buttermilk but I had some sour milk and yogurt whey which did the job. I made a half recipe and got about 8 large pancakes. Leftovers froze and reheated well.

Yum! Very good, but not quite as good as the pancakes in Heidi's first book.

Very good pancakes, indeed! I prepared these for my family and my brother and nephew - and most were eaten without additional sweetener. Very delicate texture, and a good flavor.

My children declared these to be the best pancakes ever, and we have already tried our share. They are really light and fluffy with a nice tang from the buttermilk. These will be our go-to pancakes from now on!
