My son requested some homemade chili in bread bowls. I decided to try this recipe since I had all the ingredients. I made a half recipe for him, hubby and I. This is a simple chili with a few spices and tomato sauce. From the optional ingredients I chose to add some jalapeños since we like our chili on the spicy side and some diced canned tomatoes.
