Not a combination I would have thought of but it really works. Great version of pea and ham soup for those who don't eat meat or pork, and the salmon can be left out for vegetarians.

I use olive oil instead of butter to keep it lighter. Tinned broad beans are just as good as fresh. The soup can be stored in the fridge and re-heated, but leave the salmon out and stir in when serving.
