So maybe the above reviews got my expectations up too high, or maybe I changed too much in the recipe, but I thought while this was good, it was not extremely good.
I used squid instead of shrimps, because I already had two kilo of cleaned squid waiting for something to do with it, and I used yogurt instead of buttermilk as my husband hates the taste of buttermilk.

I took one look at southerncooker's review of this recipe and knew it would be tonight's dinner. Just totally yummy. I too made all three dipping sauces ... in about 15 minutes. We grilled the shrimp which took maybe 3-5 minutes total -- sat down with a glass of wine, a napkin and our fingers and proceeded to enjoy the heck out of this dish.

I opted to boil my shrimp and make all three dipping sauces. Boy, I’m sure glad I did. I enjoyed all three sauces, but the lemon chive mayo was my absolute favorite. It went so well with the shrimp, and I bet it’d be great with fish. My second favorite was the garlic buttermilk. Not only was it good on the shrimp, it was also delicious on my baked potato and as a dipping sauce for baby carrots.
