I made a chocolate cake to crumble for this, but wasn't organized enough the first time, so it was still fresh. It's definitely nicer when the cake is a bit stale. The first time I melted a block of Whittaker's Dark Chocolate to ice it with. The second time I used Whittaker's Dark Peppermint chocolate - mmm! A definite winner.
