I have always been in search for the perfect meatball. I've come close but this recipe is the best. Moist, flavorful meat with the perfect balance of sauce. It made enough for 6 people with leftovers, but if you have big eaters more like 5. First off I had the butcher twice grind the meats so they were already blended. I just bought this cookbook and was reading around in it it and someplace she says that she when she calls for an onion it's one about the size of a tangerine. Which I find really helpful since onions vary so much in size. Even so -- I'd always prefer weight or volumes measures. This book looks like a fun one to cook from -- I made some of her recipes after watching her show and had some very good meals as a result.
