This is my kind of dessert - pears, lemon zest, zing from cranberries, and spiciness from the gingersnaps. And its not too sweet!
I forgot to add the corn starch, but it still wasn't too runny. Oh, and I also decided to use 3/4 of the pears, because I thought my bowl might not hold all of it. I didn't cut back on anything else, and it still came out great. My pears were on the green side, but the cooking softened them nicely.
My son was intrigued - how could it be sweet and spicy at the same...
