We love tomato pies in the summer when we can get wonderful heirloom tomatoes. These tomatoes are starting to arrive here in gardens, farmers markets and produce stands. I got some wonderful local ones and found this new to us tomato pie to try. It was wonderful. My family is still looking forward to one I make that has mayonnaise in it but they said they enjoyed this one as well.
