My daughter is a very good pie and pastry crust maker so I got her to make a half recipe of this. Sara M. says a half recipe makes enough for a 9 in tart which is what the Tomato Pie from page 195 calls for. Daughter said this one was even easier to make that the one she usually does. She did have a bit of a problem when she started to roll it out for the pan after chilling but said it was easily fixed. It was delicious used for the pie.
