Portuguese Rice Pudding

I have never tried rice pudding and didn't think I would like it since I don't care for sugar on my rice. My husband on the other hand loves rice pudding and I've never tried making it for him. When I found this recipe I though I'd make it for him as a surprise. Unfortunately the surprise was on me. He hated it. I actually didn't think it was that bad but since I wouldn't make it again. I don't think there is anything wrong with the recipe I just think it was a taste preference on my husbands part. I'll leave the rice pudding making for him up to his Mom from now on.
