Standard recipe for German-style rotkohl (red cabbage). I used butter instead of bacon (both are suggested, but I prefer this vegetable dish remain vegetarian when serving with other meat dishes). I also don't care for the taste of carraway seeds, so I substituted celery seed for an added aromatic component. Balanced out the tartness of the red wine vinegar with honey to taste.
