A two layered bar cookies -- rich buttery bottom (with lemon zest) and meringue (with lemon juice) on top.
The bottom is quite crumbly, but only the floor sweeper (me) is complaining. I liked the contrasting textures of the top and bottom, and this comes together very quickly.
I probably do not like it quite as much as a lemon square, but it is still very nice.
