This was really good. I used my leftover beef stew from page 165 and made some mashed potatoes with cream cheese, butter, chives and parsley for the topping. I had just enough stew left over for three which was perfect for hubby, son and I. Both son and I enjoyed it very much. Hubby said he didn't care for the stew with the mashed potatoes but liked it by itself. I served it with Rick Bayless's Hickory House Sour Slaw.
