LOVED! Very simple. Great taste. The lemon and the Parmesan make the dish. Otherwise, would be a simple stir-fry of sliced mushrooms and a bit of chopped fresh spinach. My husband is VERY tentative about cooked spinach--but it pretty much disappears amongst all the mushrooms. HE LIKED THIS DISH.
I halved the recipe, but then I think I goofed on the lemon and added too much. So it had a real tingle but was still soooo good. YUM. (PS: I don't see that this is so non-fattening, has bacon and bacon...

This sounds amazing and just like the type of food I like. I was very interested in the bacon without nitrates and nitrites. I did not know that it exists. I am becoming sensitive to those chemicals, so thanks for that information!

You will be thrilled when you try any of Beeler's products. I had never...until our market's meat dept did a demo of the bacon. They way undercooked it...which I wasn't used to, either. I could not believe the fantastic taste. That was a few years ago. Now, all the markets in our area (ok, maybe the smaller ones--locally owned) carry Beeler. You can get the bacon in various flavors, too, like peppered. This bacon will make you swoon. I promise.
