Chocolate Pudding

I made this as I had bought some whole milk for another recipe I had intended to make and didn't get around to. I had doubled it up to use the milk. I used an extra ounce of chocolate because well I just love chocolate. The pudding was creamy and delicious but since I was so worried about the milk scalding to my pan (and it did) I cooked it on lower temperatures and it took a lot longer than the recipe stated. I think the next time I will try the version made with eggs. On a side note my mother always uses half and half for her pudding and the dish still tastes rich and creamy with the whole milk with a lot less fat and calories!
