These were simple to make and came out great. I made the dough thru the first rise and froze. The night before baking they thawed in the fridge overnight and moved to the counter to rise the morning of. Great flavor and wonderful pillowy texture.

This recipe is sitting right next to me, a candidate for our thanksgiving dinner. We decided to omit the bread (redundant with stuffing), but the recipe looks great! I might whip up a batch for post-thanksgiving leftovers. I like your idea of freezing them, anything that makes the big day easier is smart.

Another option for making the preparation easier is to par-bake the rolls. I baked mine for about 16 minutes two days before Thanksgiving. On the big day I put the par-baked rolls in the oven for an additional 6 minutes and they were wonderful.
