This was the only item from my Maya Angelou Tribute meal that we didn't like. It was too dry for our tastes. I normally bake my corn bread at 500 F for 20 minutes. This recipe has you bake at 350 for one hour. I did only make 1/2 a recipe and took it out after about 50 minutes but if I made it again I'd bake at my temp and time to see if it were less dry.
