Perfect Oven Sweet Potato Fries

DH tried to make these last night - I wasn't too impressed, though, and that definitely wasn't DH's fault. My guess is that sweet potatoes just aren't suitable to make fries - they ended up being just as mushy as they would be if you had boiled them (there were a few crisp bits, but I suspect those were simply the black parts). But as for now, DH isn't giving up hope yet, so I might see quite a few more sweet potato fries (if somebody has some advice on this topic I'd be glad to hear about it!).
