Panna Cotta

I’ve tried Panna Cotta out at restaurants a few times mostly because my gf loves Panna Cotta. It doesn’t really do anything special for me. I decided to make this recipe for dessert one night because it is one of her favorites. The recipe is super simple. From what I remember there are less than 5 ingredients and it takes less than 30 minutes from start to finish. I love desserts that can be made ahead and brought out without having to make dessert after making dinner.

I really enjoyed this dessert. It was light and a perfect sweet treat after a big meal. I made Strawberry Coulis (p 343) to go on top with frozen / fresh strawberries from the farmers market.
