A great salad and a very unusual way to use watermelon. I'm not a huge watermelon fan and I thought that this was very tasty. I have made this twice now and both times the gang I was serving it to loved it.

After reading @justlaura's review, I've been waiting for an opportunity to prepare this salad. I'm so grateful for my CSA's late season watermelon!
This is an unusual salad. The watermelon gives it sweetness and crunch, the feta supplies saltiness, and black pepper gives it just the right base note.
I followed suggestions in the other reviews at epicurious and added both mint and lime juice (~ 1T finely chopped mint, tossed with the feta before adding to watermelon to separate the leaf fragmen... Read more
