Sunday Night Stew

This was amazing. I can see why it made it to PW's favorites section. I was a little afraid to add in the diced turnip, since I don't much care for them cooked, but son loves them so I forged ahead. So happy I did. I loved them in this stew along with the carrots and other ingredients. I purchased a chuck roast on sale and cut it into small pieces. I also loved her idea of making cream cheese mashed potatoes to serve with the stew to soak up the juices. Heavenly! I'll definitely be making this one again and again. Perfect winter comfort food.
