I’ve never made olive tapenade before, but do buy it from the store from time to time. I like it on crackers or with some fresh homemade bread. I never knew what ingredients went into olive tapenade or that it was this easy to make. This recipe is much better than store bought olive tapenade and I will definitely make it again. It was great as part of a Mezze platter with Flatbread (p 280).

This was easy to make- though I wish I had bought pitted olives. It's good on toasted baguette and even better a few days after you make it.
