This recipe was super simple. Just roast some nuts and toss with some oil and spices. I loved the flavor the salt, Pimente d’ Espellete pepper and paprika added. I didn’t have hazelnuts or pecans on hand, so I used walnuts and almonds and. These were great as part of a Mezzo platter.

I actually thought this recipe needed more salt, but maybe that was because I was starting with completely unsalted nuts. I don't mess with hazelnuts, but peanuts made a great (and easy) substitution.
